Another Morning Without Paper Towels

I had it down this morning. I ran to the kitchen, grabbed a plate, assembled my sandwich, threw it in the microwave, took it out and set it on the counter (typically I would have put the bundled sandwich in my lunch box)…

Then I gathered everything I needed for the day, hopped in the car, and drove off…. leaving my plate with my breakfast on the counter. BAH!

As we were getting ready, I saw my daughter using something funny looking to clean her shoes off. I asked her what on earth she was using….

“A dryer sheet.”

WHAT? Why are you using a dryer sheet on your shoes?

Because I don’t have a paper towel, and they were dirty.

Oh boy. So we had a discussion that replacing paper towels with a more expensive and not even appropriate disposable dryer sheet is not an acceptable exchange. In the future, she will use a rag if she must wash her shoes.
